Aircraft design and analysis
A group of
general views, aerodynamics and interconsistence and strength at the
Development and design Office of JSC TAM-TBILISI AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURING
discharges the following principal functions:

Development of loading patterns
-
Identifying the loads affecting the aircraft
-
Strength calculation, drafting static test programs
-
Development of mathematical models and theory of surfaces
-
Fixing the centre of gravity and mass analysis.
In reaching the set aims the group uses the following software:
-
CATIA V5,
a system of computer-aided design;
-
Advanced Aircraft Analysis for
Preliminary identification of aircraft technical, aerodynamic and
dynamic parameters;
-
NASTRAN, PATRAN
for calculation of structures for static and dynamic loads by FEM
(Finite Element Method);
-
Aircraft PDQ
to define the weights and center of gravity of an aircraft in the
first approximation and to preliminary define the flight parameters;
-
MathCAD – mathematical calculation.
