May 8. 2008 1st International Logistics Conference in Georgia
JSC TAM - Tbilisi Aircraft Manufacturing, with support of Georgian National Investment Agency at Sheraton Metechi Palace, Tbilisi, Georgia on May 8, 2008 is organizing the first international logistics conference.
Georgia is fitting increasingly into the focus of international logistics. Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, is taking a central position in Caucasian region because of its function as logistics hub of the surrounding countries Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan. The conference is mainly focused on the establishment of Logistics City Tbilisi. Representatives of the world leading logistics providers are invited. Together with Georgian partners and top government officials participants will discuss the perspectives and capabilities of the logistics sector in Georgia and Caucasus Region. Participants also will have an opportunity to interact with Georgian Government and private sector representatives. International Logistics Conference will be welcoming representatives of TransCare AG, Seacon Logistics and other internationally recognized organizations in logistics and transportation sector. Conference will conclude with an Official Dinner Hosted by JSC TAM - Tbilisi Aircraft Manufacturing on May 8, in the Metekhi Shadow Restaurant at 8:00 pm.

TAM-Tbilisi Aircraft Manufacturing and Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd (IAI) are in process of negotiation to establish a strategic alliance, in order to actively involve two companies in a wide variety of projects around the world in military aviation projects as well as civil aviation projects. |
