Business Activiies of the Enterprise

 

 JSC TAM-Tbilisi Aircraft Manufacturing represents the largest engineering plant in the Caucasus region with 60-year-old experience in this sphere. The main activity of the enterprise is aircraft construction.

With the view of business diversification and better adaptation to the market demands, since the 1990s the Company has started various types of civil production followed by the investments in the growing sector of the civil aircraft manufacturing.

Aiming at the business diversifying and better adapting to the market demands, the Company, since 1990s, has started producing the civil production of various designation followed by the investments in the growing sector of the civil aircraft building.

 

 Company vision

In the future 5 or 10 years, the efforts of the comapny will be directed towards developing new projects to exploit civil aircraft building and other aviation services (aviation freights, development of proper infrastructure and services). Simultaneously, during the given period, the Company will try to thoroughly employ the market potential of its principal product SU-25 and update it to the international (NATO) standards aiming at maximally prolonging the product life cycle.

At present, the Company works in two directions: aircraft building (military and civil) and production of civil goods of various designations.

Military aviation products include the following:

Civil aviation products include the following:

  • Production of a business aircraft TAM JET for 5-people-crew made of composite material and equipped with Williams International FJ-33 jet engines
  • Joint project implemented with a US company AIR, envisaging the production of a jet 7-seater business type aircraft made of composite material and equipped with Williams International FJ-33 jet engines.

The main consumers of the product of military designation are air forces of the CIS countries, countries of Africa, South America and former Soviet Union owning SU-25 class aircrafts or intending to purchase and upgrade them or repair.

The target consumers of civil aviation product  are large corporations, private airlines and physical entities of US, Europe, Middle East and CIS countries.

The product of JSC TAM-Tbilisi Aircraft Manufacturing has withstood the time and distinguished by its reliability and acceptable price.
